UTILITY INSTRUCTIONS
▷ Make sure your hands are completely dry before connecting the appliance to the mains.
1. Move the on/off switch from 0 to I.
2. Settings: The display shows which settings you are using:
- Set air speed with +/- buttons
- Set temperature with +/- buttons
- Hot air-cold air circulation: Press and hold temperature button for 2 seconds. Protects the hair from overheating and fixes the styling.
3. Locking function: After setting the desired temperature and airflow speed, the selector buttons can be locked. To do this, move the slider to . The cold air function continues to work.
4. Cold air function: Press the COOL SHOT button and release the button to activate it. When the cold air function is active, the hairdryer blows cold air regardless of the temperature setting. To deactivate this function, press and release the COOL SHOT button.
5. Magnetic attachments: The attachments hold magnetically and can be simply clipped on. Only change attachments when cooled down!
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
▷ Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the power supply before maintenance. Only clean when cooled down!
Regular filter cleaning:
▷ ATTENTION: The high-performance motor is protected by the air inlet filter.
It is therefore essential to clean the filter immediately when cleaning indicator 888 appears on the display. This is the only way to protect the motor, ensure that the appliance functions correctly and guarantee a long service life. The accumulation
of dirt due to improper cleaning of the filter can lead to damage to the motor!
Cleaning indicator:
After 40 hours of use, 888 lights up in the display. This indicates that the filter must be cleaned immediately.
Manual filter cleaning:
1. Remove the filter cover: To do this, carefully pull out the grid of the filter cover using the hook from the handle of the cleaning brush supplied.
2. clean the filter with the cleaning brush supplied.
automatic self-cleaning:
1. switch off the hairdryer.
2. press and hold the cold air button (approx. 5 seconds) to activate the self-cleaning function. The hairdryer blows air in the opposite direction through the filter. Make sure that the air inlet and air outlet are free of obstructions.
3. The self-cleaning process takes 10 seconds. The display shows a countdown from 10 - 0.
4. After the end of the cleaning process, place the filter cover back on the protective filter. The filter attachment snaps into place magnetically.
Storage:
Make sure that the appliance is protected from dust and other environmental influences.

- Unplug the appliance after use.
- Keep the appliance away from moisture, water and other liquids.
- The appliance must not be used in the bath, in the shower, over a washbasin filled with water or with wet hands.
- The appliance must not be immersed in water or other liquids. Do not touch an appliance that has come into contact with water - immediately pull out the mains plug.
- The appliance must be disconnected from the mains for cleaning, care and maintenance.
- Do not use the appliance if the connection cable is damaged. Disconnect the appliance from the mains immediately and inform EFALOCK customer service.
WARNING:
Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, sinks or other vessels
that contain water.
Caution!
Swallowing of small parts:
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children. Also keep the packaging material, such as foil, away from children.
Property damage and personal injury:
- Never leave the appliance unattended when it is switched on. Careful supervision is required when the appliance is used with / for / or near children or disabled persons.
- Do not use the appliance for any other purpose.
- Do not use any parts not recommended or sold by the seller.
- Keep the connecting cable away from hot surfaces.
- Check the appliance frequently for damage, especially cables and plugs. If in doubt, have the appliance checked by an authorized repair shop.
- If the appliance is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged or dropped into water, do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself, but take it to customer service.
- Repairs may only be carried out by an authorized customer service.
- Never wrap the cable around the appliance.
- The air inlet must not be covered. Clean the air inlet regularly to protect the appliance from overheating. The appliance is equipped with a safety thermostat. In the event of overheating (e.g. if the air inlet is blocked), the appliance switches off automatically. In this case, contact customer service.
- The appliance generates heat during use. If the set temperature seems too hot, set the temperature lower.
- Do not use hairspray while the appliance is switched on.
- Allow the appliance to cool down after use.
- The air outlet, the metal ring and the attachments may be hot during use.

Persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, make it unsafe to use this appliance should not use it without supervision or instruction by a responsible person. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
NOTE!
For added protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated tripping current not exceeding 30 mA in the bathroom circuit is recommended. Ask your installer for advice.
