Inserting the battery(ies):
- Caution: When handling batteries, do not touch both poles at the same time, as this will result in partial discharge of the stored energy, which in turn has a detrimental effect on the service life of the battery.
- Remove the cover from the battery compartment.
- Ensure that the plastic cover has been removed to protect the battery (some batteries are supplied with a protective cover).
- Insert the battery into the battery compartment, observing the polarity
- Close the battery compartment cover.
- Always use batteries of the same type and voltage. Never use alkaline batteries with normal (carbon-zinc batteries) and/or rechargeable batteries.
- When changing the battery, the settings in the device are deleted, so the device parameters must be set again afterwards.

Operation:
Weighing:
1. insert 2 AAA batteries into the battery compartment.
2. place the scale on a flat and stable surface.
3. press the button . "0 g" is displayed and the scale is ready for use.
4. To exit, press  for 3 seconds. (Auto switch-off: The scale switches off automatically after 120 seconds.)

Tare function:
Press  the   button, now "0 g" is shown on the display.

Changing units:
Press the   button to select the desired unit: g; ml; lb:oz; fl:oz.


Calibration mode:
Note: To calibrate the scale, you also need a 2000g weight and a 5000g weight. 
To start the calibration mode, press and hold the button 3 times. 5050g is displayed. Tap the  button once and then tap the button , now "CAL 0" is shown on the display. Note: The scale does not switch off automatically in calibration mode.
If "2000 g" is shown on the display, place the 2000 g weight on the scale.
If "5000 g" is shown on the display, place the 2000 g weight on the scale.
Display shows "PASS": Calibration is complete. If "FULL" is displayed, this means that the memory is full and recording cannot continue.


Remedy problems:
The LCD display shows a negative value. Press the  button and delete the negative value.
The "Lo" symbol indicates that the battery is empty. Replace the battery.
The "Err" symbol indicates that the scale is overloaded with more than 5 kg.


Faults and repair:
Contact an authorized technical customer service if you have problems with the device. Do not open or repair the appliance yourself, as this may result in personal injury and/or damage to the appliance.


Cleaning:
Clean the appliance and accessories with a damp cloth with a little washing-up liquid and dry.
Do not use solvents or products with an acidic or alkaline pH value, such as bleach or abrasive cleaners, to clean the appliance. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids or hold it under running tap water.

- Do not exceed the weighing capacity of the device.
- Remove the batteries from the device if you are not going to use it for a long period of time.
- Incorrect use or failure to follow the instructions for use will invalidate the warranty and the manufacturer's guarantee.
